Canoe Quick Trip (1.5 hours)

Leave the fast paced world behind.   This leisurely 3-mile  float through the tree-lined banks of this peaceful river allows any paddler the opportunity to enjoy the scenic beauty of the Raleigh Canoe Trail.   See turtles, waterfowl, shorebirds, turkeys, deer and the occasional raccoon as you float under the canopy of beautiful pines and hardwoods. The trip lasts approximately 1.5 hours and is recommended for small groups, families, couples, or corporate events.

The Canoe Quick Trip begins at the Canoe Launch directly across the street from our shop off of Falls of Neuse Road and ends at our private take out on Capital Blvd.

*Effective July 1, 2008 due to increase in fuel costs; a fuel surcharge of $2.00 will be added to each seat reservation.

*Paddle Creek cannot accommodate for children that require a booster seat or car seat to ride in a vehicle.    Please call the store for details.

Your fully outfitted day trip includes:

  • Safety Orientation
  • Canoe (2-3 people per canoe)
  • Paddles
  • PFD (personal floatation device)
  • Transportation from the take out on Capital Blvd. back to Canoe Launch (15 minutes)

"My wife and I loved being able to take our daughter on this kind of  trip so close to home.
The staff was great and we are definitely coming back in the spring!"-M.Walters
