Paddle Creek offers a number of specialty trips that take advantage of the abundance of paddling opportunities in and around Raleigh NC. Our paddling trips are conveniently scheduled for after work or evening paddling. Paddling enthusiast for years have been taking advantage of our Sunset and Moonlight paddling trips. Our 2010 trips will take place at Falls Lake, Neuse River, and Wake Forest Reservoir.

Meet at the Carafe Wine Makers (10940 Raven Ridge Rd., #106, Raleigh, NC 27614) at 5:30 pm where you will be picked up and driven to the Falls Lake Canoe launch. We will start the evening with a relaxing paddle from the Falls Dam Boat launch to Capital Blvd. where our drivers will meet you and load up equipment. From there we will proceed to the Carafe Wine Makers where you will be provided a selection of wines to taste with paired appetizers. From there you are free to socialize and enjoy the Carafe Wine Makers. Cost is $60 per person which includes a bottle of wine for each participant. (minimum of 8 people required, minimum age 21 yrs.) Trips will run the 2nd Friday of each month, April through September.

Our Moonlight Paddles are one of our most popular events, these monthly events are
scheduled around the Full Moon. This paddle is an opportunity to get
away from the city lights and see the lake and stars. This is a great date
event, opportunity to relax, socialize and experience this wonderful paddling opportunity.
Paddle space is limited so book today!
*Effective July 1, 2008 due to increase in fuel costs; a fuel surcharge
of $2.00 will be added to each seat reservation.
*Paddle Creek cannot accommodate for children that
require a booster seat or car seat to ride in a vehicle. Please call the store
for details.
